 Denim

■Black x Black Material■
-Black x Black Dyed Denim-
By using threads dyed with black warp and black weft yarns, you can enjoy depth and contrast. With rigid denim, you can enjoy a subtle sheen from the denim sizing.

*The subtle sheen will wash out over time.

BOBSON | Selvedge | Jeans | Okayama Denim | Okayama Weave

■Setouchi cloth■
Crafted with fabric produced to the highest quality, representing a masterpiece of Okayama's advanced dyeing and weaving techniques.

■Selvedge denim■
A substantial 15-ounce selvedge denim. The "red selvage" (aka-mimi), proof of being woven on vintage shuttle looms, runs securely from the waist to the hem.

Design

■1970’s design model flared ■
Bell-bottoms are a hallmark silhouette of BOBSON. The pattern is designed for a beautiful silhouette when worn, while pursuing the comfort of a secure fit around the waist.

■Pocket printing■
In addition to being sewn and finished in Okayama, the B-1969-XX is a model number that only select sewers can handle. This stamp marks it as the highest quality currently available from BOBSON.

■Rivet detail ■
Features pure copper punch-through rivets, characterized by the threads caught during the punching process. The back uses hidden rivets. With long-term wear, you can enjoy the resulting scratches and dulling.

■Tack button fly■
Features buttons with two prongs, designed with a vintage aesthetic in mind. The thick shanks powerfully crimp the denim.

BOBSON

■Stitch hand movement■
The stitch spacing and thread count have been carefully selected to balance vintage inspiration with thread breakage prevention and durability. To ensure longevity, we have intentionally varied the thread counts and colors, calculating loads and using thick, impactful threads at the waist and crotch. The density of the stitching, known as "unshin," is also precisely engineered.

■Stitch color■
-Two-tone stitch color-

Enjoy the stitch color using both charcoal and black threads. We use a special thread that ages and fades in harmony with the denim.

■Sewing■
Features characteristic sewing techniques from an era before backstitching, such as dropped stitching and triangular reinforcement. For the triangular stitching, a button was hammered into the end of the stitch, a technique that relied on skill rather than machines to ensure strength in those days.

■Belt loop
To ensure a robust and long-lasting pair of jeans, we utilize a vintage specification where the center of the loop is raised to protect the stitching. This prevents thread breakage and allows for years of tough wear.

■Circle stitch■
With a focus on millimeter-level precision in angles and gaps, the curved stitching on the pockets has been finished with a slightly gentler curve. This brings a touch of softness to the impactful stitch work.

≪Regarding Hemming≫
When ordering, please specify the length from the inseam crotch point in the notes section. We will ship the product with the hem already altered. Additionally, for B-1969 model numbers including this product, we offer a one-time hemming service after the product arrives. We will cover the return shipping costs, so please send it back via payment-on-delivery. Since this product is rigid denim, it will shrink by approximately 3% (2-3cm) after washing. Therefore, we recommend hemming after confirming the fit post-wash. Rest assured, there is no deadline for this post-purchase hemming service.

As a general rule, items that have been hemmed cannot be returned. Please be aware of this.
