■Deerskin leather label
A sleekly designed black deer leather patch is used.
The elegant finish adds an even greater sense of luxury to the jeans.
■Vintage wax processing hip label
The hip flasher, treated by hand with a wax process used in maps from the Age of Exploration, has a unique character in each piece.
■Special deep indigo
The denim, woven with threads that have been specially dyed to an intense color using a unique technique, allows you to enjoy the play of shadows and contrasts. You can enjoy a subtle sheen in the rigid denim due to the denim sizing. Please note that the subtle sheen will diminish with washing.
■Okayama cloth
The fabric is crafted with the highest quality, using Okayama's advanced dyeing and weaving techniques, making it a true masterpiece.
■Selvedge denim
A versatile 13.5-ounce selvedge denim that's comfortable to wear year-round. It features the "red ear," a mark of authenticity that proves it was woven on traditional shuttle looms.
■1970’s design model flared
In Bobson's signature flare silhouette, the selvedge isn't just used at the hem, a common practice with flare designs. Instead, it's thoroughly implemented from the waist to the hem with the red ear detail, which is typical of authentic selvedge.
■Pocket printing
Constructed in Okayama with Okayama fabric and finishing, the B-1969-XX is a product number that only a select few seamstresses can sew. This marks it as the highest quality within the current Bobson line.
■rivet detail
Featuring pure copper rivets with a punch-through design, characterized by threads caught within them, and hidden rivets on the back. As they are worn over time, you can enjoy the natural wear and tarnishing that adds character to the piece.
■Tack button fly
The two-pronged buttons, carefully chosen to evoke a vintage image, fasten the denim strongly with their thick arms.
■Stitch work
While mindful of a vintage aesthetic, the thread spacing and thread count have been considered for strength and resistance to fraying. Playful thread colors highlight the stitch work, and as the jeans fade over time, you can enjoy the evolution of their appearance. The threads are designed to fade along with the jeans, allowing you to appreciate the changes with age.
■Sewing
The jeans feature dropped stitching and triangular stitching, characteristic sewing specifications from a time before backstitching was common. With the triangular stitching, strength was achieved in those days through skill and without reliance on machines, by hammering in a button at the end of the stitch.
■belt loop
For jeans that are robust and long-lasting, the loops are made with a vintage specification that raises the center to protect the stitches. This design helps prevent the stitches from breaking, allowing for tough and extended wear over the years.
■Circle stitch
With meticulous attention to millimeter-level angles and gaps, the curve stitching on the pockets has been slightly relaxed. This adds a touch of softness to the otherwise impactful stitch work.
