The hip flasher features a wax finish, similar to those used on maps from the Age of Discovery, applied by hand to give each piece a unique character.

■Special deep indigo

Woven from threads dyed in a deep indigo using special techniques, this denim allows you to enjoy rich depth and contrast. You can also appreciate a subtle sheen from the raw denim sizing.

■Setouchi cloth

The fabric is tailored to a quality that can be called a masterpiece, utilizing Okayama's high-level dyeing and weaving techniques.

■Selvedge denim

A 14oz, versatile selvedge denim that is easy to wear all year round. The "red selvage" (aka-mimi) is the hallmark of being woven on vintage shuttle looms.

■1970’s design model flared
Bell bottoms, BOBSON’s representative silhouette.
Unlike common flared jeans that only have the selvage at the hem, these feature the red selvage running all the way from the waist to the hem.

■Pocket printing
In addition to being sewn and finished in Okayama, the B-1969-XX is a model number that only select artisans can sew. The print indicates that it is of the highest quality in the current BOBSON lineup.

■Rivet detail
Uses punching-type pure copper rivets, characterized by the thread caught during the punching process. The back features hidden rivets. With long-term wear, you can enjoy the scratches and dulling that develop over time.

■Tack button fly
A two-pronged button inspired by vintage styles. It uses a thick shank to firmly clinch the denim.

■Stitch work
Featuring thread spacing and counts that balance a vintage aesthetic with thread durability and strength. The stitching showcases playful thread colors. The threads will fade along with the jeans, allowing you to enjoy the aging process.

■Sewing
Adopts decorative stitching and triangular stitching, which are characteristic sewing specifications of jeans from an era before reverse stitching was common.
By hammering a button at the end of the triangular stitching, they achieved durability through technique rather than relying on machinery at the time.

■Belt loop
Features a vintage-style raised center on the loops to protect the stitching, ensuring the jeans are robust and long-lasting. This prevents stitch breakage, allowing for years of tough wear.

■Circle stitch
Attention was paid to the millimeter-level angles and gaps, resulting in a slightly more gentle curve for the pocket stitching. This adds a hint of softness to the impactful stitch work.
